The Addams Family

By Marshall Brickman, Rick Elice, and Andrew Lippa

Produced and Performed at Anthony Middle School

  "Define normal." "Why...love, of course."

Through experimenting with poisonous concoctions, fencing over furniture, setting boundaries, and connecting with one another's passions, The Addams family reminds us all that accepting yourself and living your truth can be beautifully simple - sometimes shockingly so. Despite being so different, they embrace the wackiness in every family - struggling with honesty in partnerships, insecurity in family relationships, and the ever-cycling generational power dynamics between parents and their children. This story follows America’s infamously unique family through one fateful night where who you love, how you love, and what you love are questioned, threatened, and celebrated.
